Visual identity for Barski ljetopis, the long-running international summer festival in Bar known for theatre, music, film, literature and visual art. A festival with that range cannot rely on a narrow visual code, so the system had to feel energetic and culturally broad without losing discipline. The layered lines and saturated palette give the identity movement and Mediterranean brightness, while the mark stays legible enough for posters, programs, signage and city-wide promotion.
In event design, the system has to create atmosphere before the viewer reads the full information, and Barski ljetopis leans into that requirement deliberately. Color, rhythm and typographic pressure are used to establish tone fast, while the structure remains controlled enough to work across posters, programs, venue graphics and short digital cuts.
That flexibility matters for a festival that changes program emphasis from year to year. The identity has enough character to be remembered, but enough structural openness to hold theatre, literature, music and visual art under one visual roof.
